CAREY INTERNATIONAL INC. ANNOUNCES RESIGNATION OF DEVIN MURPHY, NAMES GARY KESSLER AS PRESIDENT
WASHINGTON, D.C., January 10, 2007:
Carey International, Inc. today accepted the resignation of Devin J. Murphy as President, Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors. Gary L. Kessler has been promoted effective immediately to President and Chief Operating Officer responsible for managing the company.
"Devin very capably served Carey for over ten years and helped position the company for the next period of growth. We thank him for his leadership contributions and wish him well in his future endeavors," said Robert J. Tarr, Chairman of the Board.

Under Gary's hands-on proactive management, Carey has maintained impeccable reliability in specialized road show services which continue to be embraced strongly by the financial and investment community. Mr. Kessler, who joined Carey in January 1999, was most recently Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He previously served the company as Executive Vice President, Operations and General Counsel. Mr. Kessler holds an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law. Mr. Kessler was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Hampden-Sydney College.
