CAREY INTERNATIONAL APPOINTS NEW EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS

WASHINGTON, D.C. (October 28, 2004) - Carey International, Inc. today announced the promotion of Gary L. Kessler to Executive Vice President of Operations. Mr. Kessler will be responsible for Reservations, Customer Care, Franchises and Affiliates, Meetings & Events, System Standards, Quality Assurance and Legal. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer of the company. Mr. Kessler holds a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

CAREY INTERNATIONAL ANNOUNCES LONDON ACQUISITION

WASHINGTON, D.C. (October 6, 2004) - Carey International, Inc. today announced that it has acquired the chauffeur drive business of Miles and Miles Ltd. in London. Miles has been in business for over 50 years and has earned a reputation for excellent customer service among a discriminating clientele. Carey plans to integrate its existing London operation with Miles in the near future.

CAREY INTERNATIONAL ANNOUNCES NEW CEO

WASHINGTON, D.C. (March 22, 2004) - Carey International, Inc. today announced that Devin J. Murphy, 37, has been elected Chief Executive Officer by its board of directors. Most recently, Mr. Murphy has served as President and Chief Operating Officer. He succeeds Vincent A. Wolfington, 63, who will continue to serve as Chairman.

CAREY INTERNATIONAL, INC., ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF DEVIN J. MURPHY TO PRESIDENT AND A MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Washington, D.C. - October 30, 2001 - Carey International, Inc., the world's largest chauffeured vehicle service company, today announced that Devin J. Murphy has been appointed President of the company; additionally, he will serve as a member of Carey's Board of Directors.

"I am pleased to announce Devin's promotion to President, he is well qualified to lead Carey's operations team as President and COO" said Vincent Wolfington, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. "Devin has served the company in several senior management positions and has played an integral part in our growth and success."

Mr. Murphy, 35, assumes the position of President after serving as the Chief Operating Officer with responsibility for all of Carey's U.S. subsidiaries as well as the company's licensee program, quality assurance, fleet, system standards, customer service, meetings and events, acquisition integration, and business standardization. Mr. Murphy has been instrumental in revitalizing and reorganizing the company's operations through a new management structure and operating committee.

Mr. Murphy received a bachelor's degree in economics from Boston College and a M.B.A. from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. Prior to joining the company, he held sales and marketing positions for Bay Networks, Inc., Motorola, Inc., and Hewlett Packard Company.

CAREY ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH HERTZ TO PROVIDE EXPANDED CHAUFFEURED SERVICE

Park Ridge, N.J. - October 23, 2001 Hertz has expanded its chauffeured service through a partnership with Carey International, providing service in more than 75 countries worldwide and in 110 North American cities.

Washington, D.C. - July 31, 2001 - Carey International, Inc., the world's largest chauffeured vehicle service company, today announced that Carey International and the PGA TOUR have entered into a marketing relationship that designates Carey as the "Official Chauffeured Transportation Provider for the PGA TOUR and SENIOR PGA TOUR."

Headquartered in Washington, D.C., Carey is the worldwide leader in chauffeured transportation services with locations in 480 cities in 75 countries.

As part of the agreement, which runs through 2004, Carey will provide special services to exempt PGA TOUR and SENIOR PGA TOUR players. The TOUR designation includes chauffeur-driven sedans, limousines, vans, minibuses and motor coaches.
