PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS
WASHINGTON, D.C. (October 28, 2004) - Carey

announced the promotion of Gary L. Kessler to Executive Vice President
of Operations. Mr. Kessler will be responsible for Reservations,
Customer Care, Franchises and Affiliates, Meetings & Events, System
Standards, Quality Assurance and Legal. Most recently, he served as
Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer of the company.
Mr. Kessler holds a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law
and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

CAREY INTERNATIONAL ANNOUNCES LONDON ACQUISITION
WASHINGTON, D.C. (October 6, 2004) - Carey

announced that it has acquired the chauffeur drive business of Miles
and Miles Ltd. in London. Miles has been in business for over 50 years
and has earned a reputation for excellent customer service among a
discriminating clientele. Carey plans to integrate its existing London
operation with Miles in the near future.

announced that Devin J. Murphy, 37, has been elected Chief Executive
Officer by its board of directors. Most recently, Mr. Murphy has served
as President and Chief Operating Officer. He succeeds Vincent A.
Wolfington, 63, who will continue to serve as Chairman.

Murphy has been instrumental in revitalizing and reorganizing the
